AdBlock Master

The main thing this Major Share product can do is block ads and commercial banners. As you surf the web using Internet Explorer, Firefox, chrome, Opera, Safari, or another browser, AdBock Master will detect and will block ads, thus allowing you to surf the web without having to put up with distracting or annoying ads. To block ads, AdBock Master uses a blacklist database that is updated periodically based on feedback from the users and a local database that is managed by the user (the user can manually add domains to the database and remove domains from the database).

Major Share’s AdBock Master can ensure that your children do not access something they shouldn’t. You see, the application has a Parental Control Feature that, once enabled, will block access to websites that contain adult content or websites that are rated 18+. To do this, AdBock Master uses a blacklist database that is periodically updated based on feedback from the users.

AdBock Master has a feature that allows you to analyze websites. Appropriately named Site Analyzer, this feature allows you to copy and paste any webpage link you want. Once the link is in, AdBock Master will analyze the website with the aim of finding and blocking ad domains on that website. You can easily add the analysis results to the local blacklist database.

Access to AdBock Master’s interface is password protected. When you’re done installing the software on your PC and you launch it for the first time, you will be asked to set a password. The interface nicely presents all the functionality AdBock Master has to offer. There are tabs at the top that you can use to browse through all the features and functions AdBock Master puts at your disposal.
